Classic 60s/70s Hudson Bay wool coat in soft yellow tinged cream with the traditional green, red, navy and yellow striped design. Boxt fit with big button down patch pockets to the hip. Fastens with five small black buttons to the chest. Approx thigh length. Long sleeve with button fastened cuffs. Unlined. Made in Canada.
SIZE
The coat is not labeled with a size, but fits approx a general size Medium, looks good a bit oversized. Buttons to what is traditionally the "gent's" side, but obviously fine for all genders, just noting for those who are just to left sided buttoning. Please refer to the measurements for your best fit. You need to leave a little bit of room for comfort and movement as the coat is quite thick.
Chest: 44" (as this is very thick, I would advice for at least 4" smaller, specially if you want to layer with a thicker undergarment)
Waist: 44"
Length: 29"
Shoulder to shoulder: 18"
Sleeve: 17" from underarm to cuff
CONDITION
Good condition but has some signs of wear but presents very nicely, and priced to reflect.
-Some very slight discolouration to the cream. But this is slight and I don't think it detracts too much, but have priced this down to reflect.
-Some rubbing wear to extremities like pockets, placket and cuffs. Quite a bit of rubbing wear to the elbows, where the wool is beginning to show some threadbare patches, but no holes or damage.
-Bit of discolouration to inside of collar.
