Fantastic 70s Welsh tweed cape in a lovely rustic blue, green, cream and black checked plaid pure wool tweed. Made in Wales by "Cambrian". Pure new wool. Really great design, combining a free cape back with a panelled front which can be belted in for a more fitted look. Cape fastens with four chunky buttons to the side of the neck and a small hidden popper fastener to the collar. It has slot pockets on the front panel below the waist and open slits for the arms. The matching belt is missing but this wears well with a plain black or leather belt. Approx 70s era. Lined in lightweight black synthetic.
SIZE
Not labeled with a size but fits approx like a S-M, I think this could suit anywhere from a UK8 to a UK12. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: as shown
Coat is 31" long.
Approx 54" around the front/bust - I would estimate to best fit a 32-37” bust
Front panel measures 17" across from arm opening to arm opening
Approx 15-16" from shoulder to shoulder
CONDITION
Very good condition. Externally very good. Lining has some tiny holes and a slight reinforcement patch under one of the buttons, and some slight marks around it, which haven't come out when cleaned, but this can't be seen when worn.
