Late 40s fitted jacket in a very tiny houndstooth check, giving the appearance of a textured grey from a distance. Lovely fitted silhouette with padded shoulders and long sleeves with turn up cuffs. Fastens to the front with five small covered buttons. Nicely sculpted silhouette with a nipped in waistline and softly flared out hip. Very decorative applique pattern design to the hips - such a great touch. Lined in mauve rayon. No makers labels but a small tag reading Hand tailored.
