Beautiful lightweight grey 40s autumn coat. Double breasted design with eight small marled shank buttons to the chest. High neck with rounded collar. Very strong shoulder with firm pads and long sleeves. Decorative fitted pockets on the hip with peaked edges that are sewn on with buttons. Soft fit and flare silhouette. Outer fabric is a soft fine woven wool. Lined in a dusky mauve-pink synthetic. This is a great transitional coat, not very warm so not suitable for winter weather, but elegant and light and ideal for autumn and spring.

The coat is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good/Satisfactory condition.
-Externally this is in pretty good condition without any overly noticeable flaws, presents very nicely. There is one small linear repair on the hem, near the placket at the front, see photo. There is also slight discolouration on the hemline at the back, also shown. One of the button holes is a bit worn.
-Lining is structurally sound, arm holes and neck area are fine and it's perfectly wearable as is, but it does have a large area of small holes to the lower part at the back see photos. There are some sign pen tip sized holes in a few other places, but the main issue is the one area at the back, approx at thigh height. Of course, this is lining only so doesn't show when worn.
