50s or early 60s handmade cotton dress in a really lovely watercolour paints Asian landscape print, mountain, shrubbery and a small pagoda style building, this is contrasted with a swirling line drawn pattern and oval framing in sharp black. Colours are soft and earthy, light chartreuse and lime green, orange and rust and darker forest tones. Fitted bodice with a wide rounded neck. Sleeveless design. Waist nips the silhouette in and the skirt is sewn in small gathers giving it a modest but full fit. Short side metal zipper to fasten. No labels, handmade.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
SIZE
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements. Zip is quite short and set to the side so you may want to err on the side of caution with the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition, a little bit as is but still presents well. The following to note:
-The dress is handmade and as such some of the finishes aren't factory perfect. Print placement to skirt is a little off centre for example.
-Hem is finished with a running stitch. There's some very slight residue of old hem glue on the inside, most of this has washed out, so what remains is quite slight, nothing visible when worn.
-One small darn to the waist of the bodice, see photo. Slight fray to side of zip. Slight bit of wear on the edge of the shoulder.
