Sweet and fun little 50s cotton dress in bright vivid pink and red with a large fruit print of cherries or plums in many colours - yellow, red and purple. Fitted bodice with sweetheart bust and a slim placket fold running down the centre front. Slightly dropped waistband and a full skirt which is sewn in in small gathers. Back metal zipper. No makers label but a small size tag to the back, so possibly commercially made.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a XS. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Very good condition with some signs of alterations though nothing that detracts when worn.
-It's not always easy to work out exactly what has been done to a garment when it has been altered but I think this has been taken in at the back by adding two seams along either side of the zipper. These darts have been cut, so you would not be able to let it out again. Shoulder straps have been adjusted too, or remade, I suspect maybe using the excess hem material, though this is mere speculation, it's also nothing that can be seen unless inspecting the inside seams. Hem is handsewn so I think it has been rehemmed. Neither of this is visible or detracts when worn.
