Sweet strapless sun top by St Michael, early 60s era. Soft pastel blue cotton with with light boning to the sides and a shirred back fastened with hooks and eyes. Sweetheart bust with nicely fitted seams and pleating along top edge. Cropped waist length. Lined interally in white cotton with synthetic to the bust section.
SIZE
The top is labeled to fit a 34" bust but this runs small, I would saym more like an XS, or a 32" bust when measured. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition. Bust padding had deteriorated and has been removed, though this doesn't show when worn, small lining repair along the centre seam and two areas of slight discolouration to the bust lining, not visible when worn as only to the lining. Shirring is a little bit stretched from wear and has two small sections resewn, but this doesn't much effect the wear or the look, only noticeable when checking internally.
