Beautiful, very dramatic and just the right amount of gothic, fine velvety pin cord overcoat by Shubette. I would think late 40s or early 50s era. Shape is a loose fitted swing style with a single chunky faceted shank button with spikey features to the neck. Neat big collar and showstopping balloon sleeve with tight fitting cuffs. Slot pockets on the hip. Lined in black rayon. Wears well as a loose fitted swing coat, works great this way as a gothic opera coat, but also looks amazing with a cinch belt added for more definition to the silhouette. It's a beauty! The sleeves are just a showstealer!

The coat is not labeled with a size but as it is a loose swing fit, would work for a range of sizes, I think it could be worn by a UK10 up to a UK14. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-The faceted buttons have a rocky crystallized feature on them, but this is missing on one of the cuff buttons.
-Some very very slight fade along shoulders and sleeve tops.
-Small repairs to the corners of the slot pockets on the hip.
-Shoulder pads a little bit lumpy.
