Well this is just a dream. Summery and sweet original 50s Horrockses Fashions cotton sun dress with beautifully fitted bodice, wide shoulder straps and a nipped in waist. Classic 50s full skirt sewn in gathers with concealed slot pockets in the hip seam. Front fastens with covered buttons and a hook to the waist, as this is a really well made piece, it also has small hooks and loops underneath the placket inbetween the buttons to keep buttoning from gaping/straining. Soft cream cotton in a really fun floral with climbing green leafy stems with small yellow and brown flowers. Just a perfect summer dress.

The dress is labeled a size 14 but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-There is some damage and old darning to the lining behind one of the back buttons, can't be seen when worn. The back buttons to the straps looks like a replacement, probably originally had covered buttons like the front.
-One tiny spot by the pocket, and a very very faint slight discolouration on the pleat by the placket, really barely shows. both photographed.
-Would have originally come with a belt but this is no longer present.
