Lovely blue, white and light blue painterly polka dot and stripe print cotton day dress by Berkertex Continentals. Subtly drop waisted bodice with high wide rounded neck, sleeveless fit and beautifully darted waistline. Full skirt falls from the upper hip in tiny gathers with a nice draped effect to the side off the hip with a small pleated panel of vertical stripes to contrast. Back nylon zip to fasten. Nice crisp cotton. Approx early to mid 60s era, but still retains the silhouette and style of the 50s.

Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

Good condition. Has been taken up at some point and let down, leaving the faintest line of stitch marks. Hem is finished with a running stitch. One tiny tiny pin prick speck on the bodice. See photos.
