Early 60s (still very much in the style of the 50s) full skirted summer dress in crisp white with embroidered green and pink rose bud bunches. Fitted bodice with high rounded collarless neck and sleeveless design. Waist nips the silhouette in and comes with a matching cinch belt with covered buckle. Skirt is very full, sewn in narrow pleats to the waistband and a generous hem to give structure to the very lightweight semi-sheer fabric. Bodice is double layered but skirt is unlined, so needs a slip or petticoat. Fabric feels like a poly-cotton blend. It's crisp and slightly sheer with a soft sheen to it. Back metal zipper to fasten. No labels. Stunning and easily worn both as day wear or as a party/formal dress.
