1940s HAND EMBROIDERED HUNGARIAN GAUZE COTTON DRESS - S
Hand embroidered original Hungarian dress in the lightest gauzy cotton in soft white. This is just delightful, sheer and airy with a flowing midi skirt and shirred rainbow stitch waist, neck and cuffs. Fairly slim fitting sleeves with floral embroidery to the upper arms. Rounded neck with v-slit in front and tassled tie strap. Hemline of skirt is also ermbroidered with small floral motifs. Traditional design, made in Hungary. I think it may be 40s era, but could be slightly later too, it's traditionally made and hand fiinished.

The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

Chest: 38" (best fit smaller, would advice approx 32-33" chest, the waist elastic only stretches to 30" comfortably so would not work for larger chests)

CONDITION
Very good condition. A couple of tiny marks and one tiny hole by the side seam. See photos.
