Bright and beautiful light cotton 50s dress by Horrockses Fashions. Deep pink shade with ribbon like bands in black and white with small motifs of leaves and abstract patterns. Fitted bodice with wide v-neck with tie to front. Sleeveless fit with slightly pointed shoulder cap. Waist cinches the silhouette in and the skirt is a classic Horrockses style, dramatic and very full, sewn in narrow pleats. Buttoning all the way through the front with small black floral shaped buttons.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Good condition. Presents well but has some small signs of wear and alteration.
-Small scuff to the waistband from the hook. Threaded loop for hook is a little bit worn. See photo.
-Arm holes have been altered and are finished internally with bias band and handstitches, some of the handstitches are slightly visible externally so could be tidied up. Generous hem, also handsewn so may have been taken up.
-Missing the original belt.
