Fun little 60s cocktail dress by Blanes, London. Lovely jade green satin with a beautiful layered bust with overlaying pleated bust folds and a white back panel with an embroidered and appliqued floral tulip motif. Twin spaghetti straps to the shoulders and a fitted shelfy underbust with light boning. Large bow to the underbust. Waist is fitted and skirt is moderstly full, sewn in very wide box pleats. Back metal zipper to fasten. Bodice is lined and the skirt is backed in acetate to hold the shape beautifully.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Very good condition.
-The straps are handsewn in at the back, not visible when worn.
-Some very faint marks and some minor scuffs in the satin on the skirt, see photos. The slightest bit of discolouration to the edge of the underarm, but this is very minor.
