Sweet little late 50s / early 60s skirt in blue white tiny polka dot print thicker cotton with an amazing novelty print of framed portraits with fairytale -esque princess like ladies in big frocks and updos. Small pastel pink ribbons and bows and ornate gold frames. High wide fitted waistband and beautiful full fit sewn in neat pleats. Midi length Crisp cotton. Metal zip to fasten and two concealed poppers to the inside of waistband. No labels, but looks commercially made.

Skirt is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

SIZE
The skirt is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: clipped to fit
Waist: 28"
Hip: free
Length: 31" (of which 2" is waistband)
Sweep: 92"
(There is a short hem on this)

CONDITION
Good condition. Has some historical alterations, but nothing very noticeable when worn, presents very well:

-Currently has the original hem, but looks like it was taken up by about 3" and then restored back down, leaving a very very faint fade/crease line. As the length is very generous, it could be taken back up and still be a midi skirt, but the line is pretty slight so don't detract much as is.

-It also looks like a small patch in matching fabric has been added to the waistband by the fastening to let this out slightly and the sewn in popper buttons looks like they are a new addition, but this is nothing you would really notice when worn.

-Some light even fade to cotton.
