Spectacular 50s novelty print skirt in a turquoisey blue with red, black and yellow print with a border design of a historical, Victorian?, spectator scene people seated at cafe tables with binoculars, and fancy buildings and tents and a sky full of hot air balloons. Possibly some sort of Worlds Fair setting? Fitted waistband fastened with two hooks and eyes and an open slot hidden in the pleats. Full fit sewn in neat narrow pleats. Big triangular patch pockets on the hip, edged with white waffle cotton, and a decorative flap with three ball buttons.
Skirt is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The skirt is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Medium. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model:
(There is a 1" hem on this)
-Couple of small scuffs to the placket under the fastening. See photo.
-Some small tacking stitches to bottom of waistband, done in invisible thread.
-One tiny pin hole, hides in the fullness, and a couple of small marks near the hem, see photos.
-Some light fade, slightly more the creases of the pleats just by the upper area, but this is fairly slight and doesn't detract.
