Fantastic, truly exquisite 30s/40s long maxi coat in black wool by Gidding & Co. Cincinnati which was a high-end women's clothing store, specialising in luxury fashion from the US and Paris. This coat is beautiful, long slender silhouette with single breasted front fastened with four covered buttons and a popper to the neck. Military inspired collar with gold ribbon trim embroidery. Matching design to the amazing big pockets on the bust. Strong padded shoulder and long sleeve. Waist is softly fitted and there are slot pockets on the hip. Fully lined in black with a light wool interfacing for added warmth. It's a true showstopper.

CONDITION
Good condition. This presents just beautifully and is very strong and wearable. There is a repair to the back shoulder, see photo. There are also some small scattered pen tip / pin prick sized darns, but all in all these are not very noticeable or detract. Lining is in great condition, strong and wearable with no notable damage.
