Elegant early 50s dress in a light silvery blue, black and dark blue check patterned taffeta-satin type fabric. Fitted bodice with dropped waistband and a high neck with a curved bib trim and sweet lace edged collar. Padded shoulders and 3/4 sleeve with lacey turn up cuffs. Darted waistline and a full skirt that falls in gathers from the dropped waist down. Back metal zipper to fasten. Unlined.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a S - I would err on the side of caution with the measurements as the fabric is quite thick and shoulders and sleeves are quite slim fitting.
