Super fine knit fairisle jumper in deep chestnut brown wool - labeled as "Fascinese" by West Country Knitwear. It's super soft and smooth, knit is a stretchy rib, tight fitting and comfortable. High neck with back buttoning. Long slim sleeve with ribbed turn up cuffs. A mix of pointelle pattern and colourful fairisle to the bust, in peach and minty green. Slightly cropped length with wide ribbed waist. I'm not 100% sure of era, the style is soo 40s, but label looks late 50s/early 60s possibly to me. Lots of articles between 30s-50s mentioning the patented "fascinese" knits around Truro/Cornwall.
