Amazing full circle 50s skirt in a red, white and black tartan. Lovely textured cotton. Lovely tartan print with a slightly handdrawn effect to it and a fanastic quirky tromp l'oeil tassle print hem. Black fitted waistband with metal zipper and two buttons to fasten. Part of my own collection, I love this one, it's a fun take on a traditional print!

CONDITION
Very good condition. When I got this it originally had some very bad fade down the side of the skirt, I painstakingly red coloured this with fabric markers - it's impossibly to redraw the taran perfectly, but as the original print has a slightly handdrawn effect, it's a pretty good match and actually quite hard to spot, the 4 last images shows this area in full and in close up. Some very slight fade remains but it is a lot less noticeable than originally was. Please see photos. I would also advice washing this on 20degrees as the marker pen will fade on hotter washes.
