Charming brown grosgrain 40s dress with a spectacular neckline with bands of cream lace. Beautifully fitted bodice with to horizontal darts/gathers to the bustline. Fitted waistband and a hip with a long waterfall hip drape and a shorter sash design trimmed in lace. Skirt is a kind of faux wrap design with a small open slit to the side seam. Dress fastens with a side metal zipper and short back neck zipper. Label is R&H Grossmark. Classic 40s elegant with all the right era features!

The dress is labeled a size 38 but fits approx like a Small. I would maybe leave a little bit of room in the bust and hip for comfortable movement. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Chest: 37" (grosgrain does not have any give so would best fit around a 35" bust)
Waist: tight 28" (best fit slightly smaller)

CONDITION
Good condition, presents beautifully. Some small flaws to note:
-Two small holes to the mesh on the shoulder, see photo.
-One tiny pink mark on the lace on the other shoulder, see photo.
-Slight sheen to the grosgrain in places, nothing very dramatic or noticeable.
-Some very slight underarm marking, this is very slight, my camera won't pick it up.
-No belt.
