Beautiful 40s suit in a rich forest green with a strong tailored silhouette. Suit is single breasted and fastens with five covered buttons to the chest and finished with a high rounded collar to the neck. Long sleeve and really powerful padded shoulders. The silhouette is dramatic with a darted fitted waist and wide shoulder. No back vent. Fully lined in rayon. Matching high waisted skirt with top stitched sewn down kick pleat to centre front and back. Skirt is unlined and fastens with a side zip and waistband hook. No makers labels. Perfect autumn/winter suit.
SIZE
The suit is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small - as is common with vintage fit is hard to convert seamlessly to modern sizing - the waist on the skirt is approx a UK8-10, but the jacket is a strong silhouette, so would fit UK10-12, so sizing is a bit inbetween modern design. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Some discreet signs of wear, slight handstitching to the top of some of the waist darts at the back on the jacket and small repair to the top of the kick pleat. Some slight discolouration to lining at neck.
