40s DARK YELLOW CREPE DRESS WITH LEAF SOUTACHE DESIGN - S-M
Dark yellow 40s crepe dress with glorious leaf soutache in brown to the collar and pocket trims. Lovely design with a square neck with collar and long sleeves with strong padded shoulders. Cuffs fastened with two small covered buttons. Bodice has four larger covered buttons to fasten. Fitted waist which fastens to the side seam with a metal zipper. Straight cut skirt with decorative curved pockets to the hips and a folded back vent for movement. Beautiful little dress, very elegant and wears well both for daywear or as a party dress.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a S-M. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: clipped to fit in waist, but not bust or hip
Chest: 38" (would advice for slightly smaller, 35-36")

CONDITION
Good condition, a little bit of visible wear and priced accordingly.
-Internally there are some signs of seam repairs/resewn seams, but these can't be seen when worn.
-Slight signs of wear, some small pulls in there crepe. Some slight lines along seams, possibly from ironing, and there are some faint smudges and slight marks to the skirt, shown in the photos. These are all very faint so don't detract too much when worn.
-The top covered button is a little bit dented.
-Not sure if hem is original, it's handsewn in. It may have been rehemmed over the years.
