Autumn perfection 40s coat in a really lovely deep dark green wool. Double breasted bodice with eight green buttons and a huge pointed dagger collar to the neck. Long sleeve with big turn up cuffs. Waist is fitted and would have originally come with a matching belt, which is sadly not longer with it, but could be easily worn with a substitute. Gently flared silhouette towards the hem, with sewn in slot pockets on the hip and a lovely pleated back for a softly flared silhoutte. Lined in a light synthetic.

The coat is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

Chest: 38" (best fit 3-4" smaller as this is thick wool and lined)
Waist: approx 26" (seam to seam across the back is 13", as it is not fastened at the waist in the front, there is a little bit of room for movement and meant to be belted in to suit)

Sleeve from underarm to cuff: 17"
Sleeve from shoulder to cuff: 25"

(There is a very short hem on this)
CONDITION
Good condition.
-Little bit of rubbing wear to the extremities and a couple of very slight grazes by the placket. A few small darns, two on the sleeve and one below the buttoning approx at the waistline, see photo.
-Hem has been taken up at some point and is finished with a bias band.
-Some wear to lining, mainly to the inside neckline.
