Silky rayon 40s novelty dress in a light greeny-grey with a vibrant novelty print in purple, rich pink and chartreuse featuring little street scenes with cars, buildings, trees and tiny people. Blousey bodice with a deep v-neck and curved shoulder seams with small gathers. Sewn in darts to the underbust which open up for a soft draping across the bustline. Front placket fastens with a single popper button. Short sleeve. Dropped waistband design to the sides of the hip with gathers sewn in to create a full silhouette. Generous midi length. Side zip to fasten.

CONDITION
Good condition. Some small marks, see photos, the largest one being on the side of the hip, the rest scattered over the lower parts of the skirt. Print is still nice and vibrant and quite forgiving as it is so busy. Side zip has been replaced with a modern nylon zip, but it's a concealed under placket so doesn't show when worn.
