50s 60s wool swing coat, beautifully made and cut in a lovely blue-grey wool and adorned with two huge half face brooches to the neck in a lightweight pale gold metal which gives this such a surrealist feel - very Schiaparelli. Elegant straight cut silhoutte, loose fitting with slot pockets on the hip and a small hook fastening with threaded loop, but below the neckline. Collarless v-neck and really goegous fluted sleeves which are sewn in neat pleats the shoulder with a wide full cuff. Fully lined in a graphite grey satin. Sadly no labels. I also can't say for sure if the brooches are original to the coat, they have no stamps or dating on the back, and are removable.

CONDITION
Very good condition.
-Two very faint marks on the cuff, see last photo, and two tiny marks on the inside of the placket, not visible when worn. Some very very minor spots of wear in the wool.
-I think the metal hooks at the neck have been replaced, they look more contemporary.
