Lovely 50s cotton dress in a light sky blue with a lace style outline print in white alternated with blue bands. Fitted bodice with high straight cut neck and short sleeve. Two small flap details to either side of the neckline, both with two small decorative ball buttons. Short sleeve. Back of bodice fastens with matching ball buttons and waist is cinched in with a wide belt. Full skirt with nice use of the pattern with a vertical panel to the centre front and neat pleating over the hips and back. Midi length. No labels, but looks commercially made.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a M-L. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: clipped to fit
Chest: 39" (best fit slightly smaller to avoid putting strain on the back buttons, would advice for 37" or smaller)
Waist: 31.5-32" (belt measures 27" on smallest setting and 31" on the largest setting)
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 15"
(There is a 1" hem on this)
-Some very slight fade, slightly more so to the neckline and upper bodice, but still slight enough not to detract when worn.
-One small darned repair under one of the buttons, which can't be seen when worn as it is under the button and placket.
