Beautiful and vibrant dark pink and cream candy stripe cotton day dress from the late 50s / early 60s. Nicely panelled contrasting vertical and horizontal stripes. Bodice has a square neck and short sleeves and bust is nicely darted. Waistline is snugly nipped in and the skirt is a classic full fit sewn in neat narrow pleats which meet at the centre front. Generous hem. Back zip to fasten. No labels, I think this has been handmade.

CONDITION
Very good condition. The zipper is handstitched in with small neat handstitches. It's neatly done, so nothing noticeable. I assume it has been replaced at some point.
