Sweet sharply printed black and white Horrockses Fashions two piece dress set. Strappy full skirted sun dress with a matching cropped short sleeved bolero. Dress has a stunning fit with a boned bodice, very thin shoulder straps and a nipped in waistline giving way to a dramatic full skirt. The bodice fabric is cut perfectly to enhance the bust shape using panelling horizontally and diagonally to create sculpting stripes - such a great attention to detail. Back metal zipper to fasten. Waist length bolero with a square neck and four small black buttons to the chest. Lovely intricate print in black, white and grey in striped bands, almost paisley-esque or like an Indian block print. The silhouette is to die for and it transitions so beautifully from daywear into the evening.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat and a belt which is not included in the sale.

The dress is not labeled a vintage size 12 but fits approx like a modern day Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Very good condition. The shoulder straps have been handsewn in at the back of the bodice, but this isn't visible when worn. Probably came with a matching belt which is no longer with it.
