50s brown and white floral dress and bolero set by Horrockses Fashions in a lovely stencil print with Easter Lillies. Strapless boned bodice with a hook on halter strap and a very full midi skirt. Bodice has a strong curved boning and boning to the sides seams for a hugging fit. Skirt is sewn in small gathers for a full fit. Back metal zip to fasten. Comes with an underbust length bolero with a short sleeve and curved collar and hidden hook and threaded loop to fasten at the centre of the bust.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like an XS. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

Chest: 30-32"- bust measures 30" flat but has a curved/boned bust which so allowing for the curve of this comes to 32" (fits me at a squeeze as a 33" bust, but would advice for smaller)

CONDITION
Good condition.
-A couple of tiny smudges to the skirt, see photos.
-Some signs of alteration to inside of bodice, the zip has been resewn and the lining fabric is slightly different on either side of the back so some sort of repair or alteration has been done there though it doesn't look like the dress has been let out as the side seams are perfectly centred. There are some small patch repairs to the lining at the bottom of the boning, not visible when worn. Dress can be worn strapless but a previous owner has made a halter strap in the matching fabric which can be hooked on internally in the bodice.
-Hem is handsewn so must have been redone at some point, generous amount of hem still present.
