50s cotton shirt dress in light red and white gridwork check by Judy Graduate. Shirtwaister style with five small cream coloured buttons to the chest and a neat high waffle cotton collar to the neck. Contrasting fabric design with vertical strips to the bodice and check to the skirt. Half sleeve with turn up cuff. Fitted waist. Full skirt, sewn in small gathers. Side metal zipper to fasten.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Dress has belt loops but no belt. One tiny pin hole to the back of bodice, not easy to see. Hem has been taken up at some point but restored back down to original length, this is not very obvious, no fade line, just the slightest slightest crease line, but this should come out over time.
