Fun bright little plaid in such a great vivid palette of hot pink, orange, lilac, purple, green, turquoise and blue. Sweetheart bodice with shoulder straps that button on crossbody at the back (though the buttoning gives some versatility, could be worn halter for example too). Fitted waistband and full flippy skirt with cute diamond shaped patch pockets on the hip with buttons to secure. Back zip to fasten. Label is Charade by Berkertex. Early 80s era, but definitely "does 50s" in silhouette and print. Made in England. Also wears well layered as a pinafore for colder weather!
