Beautiful 50s summer dress in a white cotton with a large stemmed painterly print of yellow and purple irises. Fitted bodice with a deep rounded neck and strappy low cut back. Straps trimmed with a purple bias cotton band and waistband finished in matching trim. Skirt is a lovely full silhouette sewn in tight gathers. Back metal zip to fasten. No labels.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-One tiny repaired hole on the skirt, hides well in the print, see photos. One tiny tiny faint line (pen?) by the neck, super slight, also shown.
-Some small signs of wear to the purple bands on straps, a few small securing stitches to this underarm, the straps are also partially handsewn in at the back, but this doesn't shown when worn as it is on the inside.
-Some seam repairs internally, machine sewn and not visible when worn. Neckline has been lowered very slightly, but again this is not visible unless internal seams are scrutinized. Small resewn seam by side of zip.
