Beautiful black strapless 50s Horrockses Fashions dress with a colourful yellow, green and red stencil floral print - lovely contrast with the deep base colour and the catchy print. Strapless bodice with curved bust seams and folded flaps to bustline which are backed with bright plain yellow. Nipped in waistline and a sweet full midi skirt, sewn on the bias with a close to full circle sweep and slot pockets on the hip. Back metal zip to fasten. Bodice is back in matching printed cotton, skirt is unlined. This is a Horrockses dress but sadly unlabeled. I've included some photos of the same dress by other sellers which are documented with the label.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

The dress is labeled a size 12 but fits approx like an XS, approx a UK6 in modern sizing. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Very good condition.
-Hem has been altered, there is a faint line 1.5" up from the line where it has been folded previously, very very slight. Current hem is finished with a running stitch seam.
-Some handstitching to lining so may have had some adjustment at some point.
