Utterly delightful dark floral by Victor Josselyn. Dark slate grey cotton with a fantastic yelow, green and white floral print in bands across the lower bodice and upper waist of the skirt and scattered throughout. Fitted bodice with a high boat neck and short sleeves. Fitted waistband and very full skirt sewn in gathers for a lavish sweep. Big pockets on the sides of the hip. Side metal zipper to fasten.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Satisfactory condition - this is a bit of a wounded bird but it is still so pretty. Obviously priced to reflect condition so please look at all photos carefully and note the following:
-Firstly, there is a neat but fairly long linear machine sewn repair to the side of the hip, largely hidden by the pocket, see photo. It's not too noticeable when worn, the skirt sweep is almost 140" so there is plenty of folds for it to hide in (but the generous amount of fabric means there is plenty of fabric to work with if you wanted to take the repaired section not covered by the pocket out). Some small reinforcing seam repairs to the corners of the pockets though this isn't very noticeable.
-Secondly there is some slight colour mottling to the top of the bodice, and some underarm fade to the fabric, which has not cleared when washing. Two tiny water marks near the hem. All shown.
-Hem has been taken up by 2" approx but is intact under the fold.
-Missing the original belt.
