Sweet thick pure wool mini coat from the early 70s in a really lovely shade of dusky pink. Softly a-lined swing silhouette with mid-thigh length and a double breasted front with six chunky buttons to fasten. Long raglan sleeve with big turn up to the cuffs. Slanted patch pockets with button closure on the hip. Huge shawl style collar. Fully lined in maroon synthetic. No makers name.
SIZE
The coat is not labeled with a size but fits approx like a S-M. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model:
Chest: 38" (thick wool and lined so best suit smaller, would advice for around 34-35")
Waist: 42"
Hip: 46"
Sleeve from underarm to cuff: 17"
Sleeve from shoulder to cuff: approx 24" (no shoulder seam)
Shoulder to shoulder: approx 15"
Length: 32"
CONDITION
Good condition. Presents really well but has some signs of wear.
-There is some rubbing wear to extremities, collar edges, placket edges and cuffs, as shown, but still holding up well. Some slight wear to the lower sleeves, where small areas have lost some of the fuzzy texture. One tiny graze near the hem, all shown.
-Lining is very good except for one of the underarms which has some fairly neat hand darning around the underarm seam, see photo.
