70s does 40s country chic tweed suit in a lovely brown houndstooth tweed. Versatile suit - both pieces work so well as separates too - in a classic bold 70s tailored style. Jacket is single breasted with a single big button to the waist and big 70s lapels. Long sleeve and nicely fitted silhouette with a tall back vent. Slot pockets with flap on the hip. Skirt is an a-line midi style with a central front kickpleat and a high fitted waist with metal zip and button to fasten. Skirt is lined to just below hip length. Label is Just In by Debehams. Fabric is not labeled but feels like a wool and synthetic blend.
SIZE
The suit is labeled a size vintage 12 to fit a 34" bust and 36" hips (hips will fit wider, up to about 38" with ease) so in modern sizing this fits approx like a Small. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Good condition. Lining has some reddish discolouration/fade to underarms and two linear tears repaired on the back body next to the underarms. Outer tweed shows some light wear and a little bit of pilling texture, though this is not very noticeable.
