Perfect summer / holiday dress from the 70s, but in such a classic 50s style by Hawaiian label Kimo's Polynesian Shop. Lovely lustrous blue cotton with large exotic floral pattern in white, lilac, dark blue and brown/green tones. Fitted bodice with deep v-neck wiht small gathers along the bustline. Bodice is not boned but bust is lightly and very softly padded to hold the shape. Thin twin shoulders straps which button on at the back. Strong shirring to the side seams. Wrap around skirt which tie on the hip, with sewn in drapes by the tie, to hang beautifully. Back nylon zipper to fasten. Just stunning, and perfect for Viva or summer getaways.

The dress is labeled a size US 6 but vintage sizes run small, so fits approx like a modern day XS-Small, approx a UK8. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
