Showstopper 70s wool shadow plaid cape coat by Irish label Jimmy Hourihan "Boru". This is amazingly bold and colourful in a rich purple, green and blue hazy plaid wool and a dramatic mid calf length. Cape fastens with four blue buttons to the side of the neck and a small hidden popper fastener to the collar. It has pockets on the front panel below the waist and open slits for the arms. The front panel is free from the arm slits down and meant to be cinched in with a belt which gives this cape such a great silhouette, a loose free flowing back and a more fitted coat like front. Best of both worlds. Fully lined in a blue synthetic. No belt but easily work with a plain belt or sash. Approx 70s era.
