Bright and colourful autumn shirt dress from the 1970s by Luis Caring. Bold colours of orange, yellow and green plaid check in a slightly thicker woven cotton blend. Bright yellow buttoning all the way through the front and a big pointed dagger collar to the neck. Long sleeve with inset puff shoulder and but turn ups to the cuffs. Fitted waist and a gently a-lined skirt with sewn in pleats to the hip.
SIZE
The dress is labeled a size 12/36 but fits approx like an XS-S, fabric is thick and non-stretch, so best fit someone slightly smaller than the measurements. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: as shown
Chest: 34.5" (thick non-stretch fabric, so best fit slightly smaller)
Underbust: 31.5"
Waist: 26-27"
Hip: approx 38" at the point where the pleats are sewn down to approx 7" down from waistband)
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
Sleeve from underarm to cuff: 17.5"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 13" (but fits wider due to the big inset puff sleeve, so I would say up to 14-15")
Length: 36.5"
(There is a 1" hem on this)
CONDITION
Good condition. Some signs of machine sewn seam repairs internally but this can't be seen when worn. One cuff button is slightly mismatched.
