Vintage 50s cotton swimsuit with a striking skirted silhouette and a bright novelty print of drums and ladies drumming, dressed in elaborate headdresses and African printed dresses. Bodice has vertical shirring to the front and a sweetheart bust with a black folded edge. Button on halter strap. Skirted silhouette with built in bloomer style pant, with elasticated leg cuffs. Upper back is completely shirred for a stretchy hugging fit. Elastic is still nice and strong. Bust is lined but not boned or wired. No labels.

The swimsuit is not labeled with a size, but fits approx like a modern day Small, approx a UK8, but please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Back shirring is nice and strong. A few tiny pen tip sized holes to gusset. A couple of small faint marks, hides well in print and not very noticeable. Has been freshly laundered.
