50s spring/summer skirt suit in a lovely light blue. Fitted skirt with tiny nipped waistline and side metal zipper. Fitted jacket with a high v-neck with small collar folds. 3/4 sleeve with turn up cuff and padded shoulders. Single breasted cut with six (out of seven) matching cloth covered buttons to the front. Very neat big patch pockets to the chest and curving round the hip. Nicely fitted cut with a market waistline and slightly peplumed hip. Both skirt and jacket are unlined. No labels.
The dress is not labeled with a size but fits approx like an XS. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.
Fit on model: this is too small to zip up and jacket is a bit on the tight side
Shoulder to waist: 15.5"
Sleeve from underarm to cuff: 12"
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 15"
Length: 23.5" from shoulder to hem
Good condition, a little bit as is, but still wears well.
-Buttons are a slight bit discoloured and a little bit worn looking, nothing to noticeable. Bottom button is missing.
-Faint underarm discolouration. There is a small mark on the bottom of one of the hip pockets, and some very very faint (won't even show up in photos) discolouration on the skirt, see last photo, I think it is too slight to really be noticeable when worn.
-Set is unlined and internal seams show a bit of fraying. Can't be seen when worn.
