Handmade 50s skirt in a really cool colourblock panelling in blue and white cotton, alteration panels with an asymmetric ruffled tier towards the lower part which is marked with straps and covered button designs. Fitted waistband with hooks and small plastic popper button to fasten and a lightweight metal zip to side seam. Really fun piece!
Skirt is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Good condition, not perfect, has some signs of wear and alteration but still wears well:
-The waistband has been let out slightly by letting the white panels out very slightly at the top, so there is a slight line of ghost stitching on the white panels along the seam, see photos.
-Some tiny marks and a small area of slight discolouration to one of the blue panels, shown in last few photos. Also one area of slight scuffing in one of the white cotton panels. I've spot treated with vanish twice, so what remains may not come out, but it hides quite well in the fullness of the gathered lower panelling when worn.
-Tiny bit of fraying to the edge of the zipper placket.
