Gorgeous floral border print late 50s/early 60s cotton dress by Duprez, London. Painterly beige-cream cotton with small scattered red, yellow and bluey turquoise flowers to the bodice and upper skirt and bigger border print around the hem and to the upper back. Absolutely delightful and I love how this works so well both as an autumn and a summer floral. Bodice is fitted and has a high rounded neck and short sleeve. The bust sits high with seamed underbust and small gathers for fullness. Neck, sleeve cuffs and underbust seam is finished in red piping. Wide fitted waist and a lovely full skirt sewn in small gathers over the hip and two curtaining box pleats to the front. Side nyon zip to fasten.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Small repair to seam above zip. One VERY faint area of slight yellowing on the waistband, hides well in the print, so doesn't detract.
