Stunning Fred Howard early 50s novelty shirtwaister dress in such a great conversational print. Palette is cream with grey, black and yellow and features striped bands with woodland cottage scenes and bands of sharp grey fences. Short sleeved bodice with a collared v-neck. Three quite large cream toned buttons to the chest. Fitted waist with a concealed hook fastener., Skirt falls in box pleats which gives it a nice fullness when worn with a petticoat. Midi length. Fabric feels like cotton.

CONDITION
Very good condition with some discreet flaws:
-Some very small faint marks to the front of the skirt, see photos for a couple of examples (and also a small tread pull in the print).
-Slight even fade to the cotton (you can see at the underside of the collar, the yellow specially would have originally been a bit brighter) but this is nothing that really detracts when worn.
-No belt.
