Stunning grey 40s evening long length dress in a romatic floral rose bouquet print. Selvedge has the name and maker, Waverly Fabrics and the print is called Sweetheart rose. Lovely fit with a drop waisted bodice with a gathered bust seam for soft drape and a deep and wide cut v-neckline with a folded collar that peaks over the shoulder. Short puffed sleeve. Natural waistline nips the silhouette in and the dropped waistband sits on the upper hip, with a curved seam with a small v-point to the centre. Bodice and collar have small sequins sewn on, matching the colour of the floral print. It's a gorgeous detail that really lifts the print! Skirt is sewn in small gathers giving it a soft fullness. Made in a very fine soft cotton. Side metal zipper to fasten. No makers labels.

CONDITION
Good condition.
-Has been rehemmed and hem is finished with a running stitch. Internally some signs of seam repairs, back darts have been taken in every so slightly.
-Some small scuffs/tiny spots of wear to the upper bodice, see photos, not too noticeable when worn.
-Two marks, one to the back quite near the hem, and the other a very faint shadow on the front hip. Both shown in photos.
-Very very subtle underarm fade, not noticeable when worn.
-Sequins show a bit of wear, a few are a little bit crumpled.
