Really sweet handmade 50s sun dress in a green and white triangle print cotton. Great silhouette with three thin straps to either shoulder and a fitted underbust with gathers for fullness. Waistband nips the silhouette in and the skirt is very full and has two big patch pockets on the hip and is lined to the upper hip with a light chiffon which adds a bit of volume to the upper skirt. Back metal zip to fasten.
As for dating, I was convinced this was original 50s, zip is metal and fabric feels like genuine vintage cotton. The pattern is also a classic vintage design. But, it is handmade and has seam allowances zigzaged over with machine, which looks a bit more modern constructionwise. The netting trim to the hip also looks more modern, so it makes me think it is a handmade dress made with vintage materials to a vintage pattern at a later point.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Only think I can note is that as it is handmade the straps for example are handstitched in internally, not very obvious when worn, but some tiny stitches visible.
