Beautiful 50s Horrockses Fashions two piece dress set n a lovely vibrantly patterned cotton in black, green and turquoise. Dress is a strappy design with a fitted waist and very full skirt sewn in gathers. Bust has a small folded finish to the top with a light green band with a folded bow to the front. Back metal zipper to fasten. Comes with a the matching underbust length bolero which has short sleeves, a decorative pleated bust design and an marked underbust band which fastens to the front with a hook and eye.
Dress is pictured with a black belt and a petticoat which are not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Good condition. This presents beautifully, some things to note, but none of these are very noticeable when worn.
-On close examination, there are some tiny red spots to the skirt, the print is very forgiving, and these are all pen tip size or thereabouts, so hide well in the print. See photos for examples.
-One small very discreet darn just below where the strap attaches to the bodice. See photo.
-I think the hem has been redone, it is handsewn. There is a very very slight line above it where it looks like this has been hemmed previously, but it is very faint and barely shows.
-One small repair, very discreet to the back of the sleeve cuff on the bolero.
