Beautiful asymmetric one shoulder summer dress in white cotton with a vivid exotic floral print in a panelled design to the skirt and draping down from the shoulder across the underbust. Bodice has a fitted bust with seamed underbust and boning to the front bust seams and waist. One shoulder strap with an overlay across the bust which attaches to the side seam, neatly sewn in gathering pleats. Waist is fitted and the skirt flares out into a full design. It is lined in a gauzey cotton petticoat. Back metal zip to fasten, this is not down the centre, instead off set to the strapless side, maybe for ease of dressing. No labels, but the fabric has the name on the hem "Everfast Fabric". The style is so 50s, but I think this is slightly later, maybe mid 60s.
Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Very good condition. Zipper has been replaced but with an original metal zip. Some tiny hand stitches to the top of that boning to secure, not visible when worn. Very very minor straining to waist darts. None of this detracts much when worn.
