Beautiful floral for the autumn! Early 60s full cotton skirt with thick black and white stripes and large grey, green and orange roses in bands, alternating with a miniture version of the same print. Slim fitted waistband and full silhouette sewn in wide box pleats. No labels, and some signs of later alterations, but a lovely piece. Love a slightly darker floral in a more unexpected colourway.
Skirt is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

CONDITION
Good condition, presents well but has had some alterations. Hem has been let down and is finished with a bias band. I think the waistband has been replaced as waistband cotton feels slightly more modern, and has a slightly different texture to the skirt, and the zip has been replaced with a modern concealed zip. This also had hidden slot pockets added to the hips at some point and these have been taken out, leaving a discreet seam to the sides, again not particularly obvious when worn. One very slight area of faint mottling on one of the black stripes, shown in photo. All in all still presents beautifully.
